IsoBreathing® is a combination of isometrics and slow, rhythmic breathing.

An isometric is a muscle contraction in which the tension increases, but the muscle length remains the same. Energy is expanded and calories burned by maintaining the contraction.
 

The breathing portion of IsoBreathing® is a specialized breathing that delivers oxygen to every part of the body being exercised. The breathing is slow and rhythmic.

Unlike some programs, with IsoBreathing® there is absolutely NO breath holding. Holding one's breath, especially while exercising, can lead to lightheadedness and loss of consciousness.

No funny faces, no snorts or grunts, no calorie counting or diets involved - just smarter, healthier choices and low key resistance training. This slow rhythmic breathing can be done in public!

Who is the program designed for?

I designed this program with my clients in mind. 75% of my clients need to lose anywhere from 35 pounds on up. From that group, more than half need to lose more than 100 pounds. You need to start somewhere and when you are morbidly obese you do have physical limitations. You tire easily. You get out of breath easily. This program is designed with you in mind. Most of the exercises are done seated in a chair. There are a few standing exercises, BUT if you find that you cannot do those, all you have to do is email me and I will walk you through those exercises while being seated. Most of the exercises can be done while being seated, standing or lying on the floor - depending on your specific physical limitations.
