Isometric Exercise - An Alternative To Excessive Grunt(ing) Work

Isometric Exercise can be part of any effective exercise program. Recent studies demonstrate the effectiveness of isometric exercises and they have become very popular again.

What you see here are my clients in isometric poses. An Isometric hold is contracting a muscle and then holding it. The longer you hold, the more intensely you work the muscles. You can add in an Isoband (from IsoBreathing) exercise band to help increase the intensity.
